Dr Maryam Bashir is a dedicated General Practitioner who graduated from Nishtar Medical University, Pakistan, in 2012. She gained broad clinical experience in medicine, paediatrics, and emergency medicine before moving to Australia in 2017. Since then, she has worked across a variety of specialties at Caboolture Hospital, further strengthening her clinical knowledge and experience before transitioning into general practice. Dr Bashir was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2026.

Dr Bashir enjoys all aspects of general practice and is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals and families across all stages of life. She has a special interest in women’s health, child health, preventative health, chronic disease management, and healthy ageing. Dr Bashir is passionate about empowering patients through education and shared decision-making, believing that informed patients are better equipped to make decisions about their health and wellbeing.

She values continuity of care and finds great satisfaction in supporting patients and families to achieve their health goals through personalised, evidence-based healthcare.

Outside of medicine, Dr Bashir enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her young family.
