Dr Muhammad Asghar is an accredited General Practitioner with a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine. As an active member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia, he is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care focused on the early detection, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He combines advanced dermoscopy techniques with meticulous surgical skills to deliver personalised care while helping patients maintain lifelong skin health through regular skin checks and preventative health.

Dr Asghar performs comprehensive full-body skin examinations using dermoscopy to accurately assess moles, freckles, pigmented lesions and suspected skin cancers. He provides skin biopsies, surgical excisions and reconstructive procedures, including skin grafts and local flap surgery, with a focus on achieving the best possible functional and cosmetic outcomes. He also offers topical treatments for selected superficial skin cancers and precancerous lesions, together with cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen treatment) for sun-damaged skin, actinic keratoses and selected benign skin conditions.

Dr Asghar believes in educating patients about skin cancer prevention and the importance of early detection. He takes the time to ensure patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options, providing compassionate, patient-centred care in a professional and supportive environment.

Please note: Skin biopsies, surgical excisions, skin grafts and flap procedures are performed following an initial skin consultation when clinically indicated. A follow-up appointment will be arranged if treatment is required.
